BTW Passed the Final Test of First Unit EHV1000kV transformer for Zhangbei-Xiong'an EHV AC power Transmission Project

The 1st unit 1000MVA/1000kV EHV transformer for Zhangbei-Xiong’an EHV 1000kV AC power transmission project of State Grid Corp of China is made by BaoBian Electric (BTW), and it has passed all the final tests by one trail successfully, and all the main performance characters reach the international leading level.

BTW is awarded totally 7 units EHV 1000kV transformer of Zhangbei Substation in. To ensure the smooth production of the project products, BTW has set up a project leading team, which is responsible for the full-scale manufacture. During the manufacture process, each step is paid close attention to quality control basis on co-ordinate from all departments, each worker works with high standard and strict requirement, overcomes the difficulty, strives for perfection, which to solve large volume, complex structure and assembly difficulty, all of these guarantee this 1st unit to complete a one-time manufacture success.

Zhangbei-Xiong’an EHV 1000kV AC power transmission project is a key part of the  EHV AC power transmission scheme of State Grid, it is expected to help to increase 6000MW output from northern Zhangjiakou, also could help transfer rich clean energy (wind and solar energy) to Xiong’an Area.
