The 1st unit of flexible DC Transformer in the Kunliulong DC project was delivered to Site

BaoBian Electric (BTW), the 1st flexible DC transformer delivered to Longmen Substation, Huizhou, which from the Wudongde-Guangdong&Guangxi EHV multi-terminal Trial Project , which could called abbv in Kunliulong DC Project.

This transformer manufactured in BTW Qinhuangdao Factory, the delivery from 11/Oct, first routine in 2 kM road to the port wharf, and shipped during sea fright by 2530 kM till Daya Bay, Huizhou, Guangdong Province, then transported by 208 kM road by destination Longmen Substaion.

Kunliulong DC Project adopts ±800 kV Three-terminal hybrid DC technology, with transmission capacity of 8 million kW, the total length is 1452 kM, passing through 15 cities and counties in 4 provinces. This project could not only help to clean energy structure transaction in Guangdong and Guangxi, and also help to improve the level of China's technical equipment rely on the such project, drive the independent research and development of China's key large-capacity flexible DC equipment, enhance the international status of China's power equipment.
