The first batch of Three Gorges Baihetan products(Party building co-construction Item) made by BTW are all qualified in the frist time test

Recently,The first batch of 3 units main transformers for Three Gorges Baihetan hydropower station are all qualified in the first time test, which are the Party building co-construction Items by BTW (Baobian Electric) and Three Gorges Electromechanical   (Three Gorges Electromechanical Engineering Technology Co., Ltd).

Baihetan hydropower station is the largest hydropower station under construction in the world and will become the second largest hydropowerstation in China after the Three Gorges hydropower station.BTW has won the bid(Lot Right Bank) for all 25 units 375MVA/550kV main transformers of the project which for procurement of 550kV main transformers and ancillary equipment on the RightBank of Baihetan hydropower station.

The party committee of BTW and Three Gorges Electromechanical company identified the project as a Party building co-construction item. In order to ensure products be made with high quality, BTW(Qinhuangdao manufature basis) was responsible for the manufacture of the products, and arranged the first batch of products as "party member” products which need to meet target requirements of "Seven Zero“(Zero suspects for designing, Zero defect for manufacturing, Zero deviation for installation, Zero delay of progress, Zero unplanned shutdown for running, Zero accident for safety, Zero complaints for service).The work was refined to each working procedure and each operation detail, finally ensured the first batch of products first time test qualified.
